VASS MEDICAL FOUNDATION
VASS MEDICAL FOUNDATION is a medical charity committed solely to the fight against Malaria Infection in Africa and other tropical countries world-wide. The foundation consists of a team of doctors, pharmacists, scientists, entrepreneurs and other people who believe that given the right support, the war against this menace which is a threat for up to 40% of the world's population can be won, Very simply, the VASS Medical Foundation is a charity armed with the vision to reduce this unnecessary loss of human lives in Africa and other tropical countries world-wide.
The foundation's objectives are:
The relief of sickness, in particular among children in the developing countries of Africa, or at risk of suffering from malaria through: (a)the provision and distribution of medicine, medical equipment and related supplies; (b) the provision of training for local medical staff in the appropriate skills to prevent and treat malaria; (c) We also build and operate children health centres to treat infected ones and save them from imminent death.
The advancement of Education for the general public concerning malaria in particular by conducting research or supporting research into the disease and the publication of all useful results of such research.
We are optimistic that these are achievable objectives based on our well researched strategies (see projects page).
We want to give the real victims, the real chance and the real power to fight a real threat to their future generations. That real and realistic opportunity is in real education and knowledge given to them with genuine physical assistance.
